How to apply winged Eyeliner in 5 Steps

Hi everyone. This blog post is much requested and On demand for those who love to apply eyeliner but cannot achieve the proper winged eye liner look.So here I will be sharing some simple techniques through pictures.Every one use their own method and trick to apply eye liner. It is completely up to you.How you find it easy as there are so many tricks for applying eyeliner.Lets move on to the tutorial.

Here’s  step-by-step guide for how to create a winged eye. My personal favorite liner to work with is Maybelline Eye studio lasting drama gel eyeliner. It’s a smudge proof  liner that’s easy to use and always produces beautiful results. You can use pencil or liquid liners according to your preference.

1. Using a black liner with a very thin brush gently drag the brush along your lash line starting from the top inner corner of your eye toward the outer corner of your eye.

2. Continue applying the eyeliner and making the line thicker as you move towards the outer corner.
Draw a flick starting at the corner of your eye going upwards.
For beginners, you can use the shape/curve of your lower lash line as guide to know the direction of your flick.
I end my flick a quarter or half way of the space between the outer corner eye and end of eyebrow.

3. From the end of the flick, connect it to your lash line.

4. Fill in the rest with your eyeliner.

5. Apply eyeliner in your lower lash line starting from the outer corner of your eye.
If you have small eyes  or just want a subtle effect, you can line 1/3 or half of the lower lash line.
If you have bigger eyes or would like to go for a dramatic effect, you can line and thinning it out as you go all the way to the tear duct.
Finish off your look by curling your lashes and applying your favorite mascara.

Don’t worry if your liner isn’t perfect after your first try. It took me lots of practice to get it down.
I hope you enjoyed this and start creating your own winged eyeliner if you haven’t tried that yet ;)

Stay Beautiful
