Today's post is going to be a DIY i.e Do It Yourself. How to make Eye shadow Primer at home.
As you all know for beautiful & Vibrant eye makeup look a Primer is must.

What is an Eye-shadow Primer? Why do we need it?

Eye-shadow primer is a cosmetic that is applied to the eyelids prior to the application of eye-shadow.It gives a smooth and clear base on eyes to work on. It also helps the eye shadow colors to be applied in a smooth, even layer, and so that it will stay in place on the eyelid. Eye Primer also helps to make the Eye-shadow color look more Vibrant and it also make your eye-shadows stay for a longer time.

These days there are several brands which are offering Eye-shadow primers. Some of them work & some not.But they all having very high price tags on it.Even some local & Drugstore products also cost too much.

When I started researching on Makeup I googled many recepies & DIY on how to make my own Eye shadow primer at home.

I must say it's a very easy recipe, you hardly need 3-4 products. This actually worked for me & on my super dry eyelids too!

DIY:- Make your own Eye-shadow Primer at Home

                         Products Needed :-

1.A good moisturizer or Body lotion
2.Foundation
3.Concealer
4.Toothpick (to Mix all the ingredients)
5. An empty Container

Take equal amounts of the Foundation, moisturizer and some concealer in a clean container and blend well. The moisturizer should be hydrating.

Blend everything well to avoid clumps. This will act like a concealer and provide a smooth base for the shadow.

Store it in an air tight container. Tada you are done.

This primer prevented my shadows from creasing and practically no fall out. Even the cheapest eye shadows I came up with worked effortlessly. And blending it like as good as a painting. I even use this even if I am wearing just a pencil or liner on my lid. it makes them look even better.
