Hi Beauties .Its been too long I have not done anything on my blog.So today I picked up a very simple and effective product to review.

We all are aware about Patanjali brand lunched by Baba Ram dev in India.This brand has every product you want in your  kitchen,Skin care products,Ayurvedic medicines etc.The whole collection is great combination of good quality products @ reasonable prices.

I found one of the Patanjali stores in my city and had a look over the products. One thing I found which is sometimes hard to find in beauty stores i.e Aloe Vera Gel.As winters are here so my skin is quite prone to acne and dryness.I have seen so many people using this and talking about it. So I gave it a try and thought of sharing it with you guys.

                       Review of Patanjali Aloe Vera Gel

Product Description:-This Aloe Vera gel claims instant solution for Pimples,Wrinkles & glowing fair skin.

Packaging :- This product comes in a transparent  squeeze tube .It has a tight lid cover orange in color.The packaging is quite good and it is convenient to be carried out easily.

Price :- INR 80 FOR 150ml

Shelf Life :- 18 months

Ingredients :-Aloe barbadensis 90%,Vitamin E,Sugandhit dravya-QS,permitted Color.

Texture :- It is obviously comes in a gel form which is green in color.The texture is very light and soft.Initially when you apply it tends to get little sticky but after 2 mins it gets absorbed into the skin.

  My Experience with Patanjali Aloe Vera Gel

My personal experience with this gel has been good so far.I have noticed a change in my skin.It is very much effective on pimples and redness around it.The texture is so light that it is hard to feel that you have applied something on your skin.

Here are top 5 ways I use Aloe Vera Gel in my Skin Care Routine

1. Face Primer :- Aloe Vera Gel is best known to even out your skin and making it smooth  and clear.Apply a small amount of this before starting your makeup.It will give you a smooth and clear canvas to work on.Your makeup will stay Longer.

2. Face pack :- I mix this gel in many homemade masks.Mix this gel in multani mitti or besan, a pinch of haldi and few drops of lemon.This works amazing to heal your skin from Acne,tan and blemishes.

3.Night Cream :- Mix aloe Vera gel and a Vitamin E capsule extract or you can use Vitamin E oil.Apply this on washed face it will moisturize and heal your skin through out the night.

4.Skin Toner :- Put 1tbsp of Aloe Vera Gel and 5 Tbsp of rose water into a spray bottle.Your cooling and hydrating toner is ready.Spray it on your face and let it get dry and absorbed into your skin.This Toner is suitable for all skin types.

5. Face Scrub :- Mix 1tbsp Aloe Vera gel, 2tbsp Sugar and 1tbsp Honey.Apply it on your face and neck with your fingers and gently rub it for2-3 mins.Then rinse it with normal water.

Final Verdict :-I highly recommend this awesome product to all of you.It is effective in every form you like to use.The best part is this is suitable for all skin types.No matter Summers or Winters this gel is my holy grail product  .

Today I am going to share my review and swatches of a Lipstick. Lakme has recently launched few new shades to its Enrich Satin range.I have been hearing about this lipstick from so many.So I thought lets' try this out.I saw all the colors online and they all are very bright and vibrant from pinks and corals,tangerine to reds and Plums.I wanted to try a bright color first so I picked a vibrant Red shade from this range i.e R356. Let's start the Review.

Lakme has improved the packaging as we compare it to the older collection.This Lipstick comes in a silver box.This box is the only source of product information which you can find about the Lipstick.There are no Ingredients mentioned anywhere.Just a caution,shade no and shelf life is written on the box.This bullet comes in a Silver tube and a transparent cap.At the bottom of the lipstick the shade no is mentioned.

                               

Shade & Texture :-I picked up a cool Red shade which is R356. It is a beautiful red shade having very creamy n satin texture which glides on your lips very easily.A single coat is enough to get the intensity of the shade.It actually smells like its old range lipsticks.

                         

                      

Swatch :- This lipstick is very smooth like Satin on your lips.It is not drying on the lips.You don't need to exfoliate your lips before applying this lipstick.The texture is quite smooth and soft.It also has a hint of shimmer added to it.

                         

Staying Power :- I bought this lipstick to have a new red color in my collection but I must say this one has become my favorite now.This Lipstick is highly pigmented and stays on lips for a long time.I wore this Lipstick on a wedding for the first time.It did get transfer initially but after some time it was matte on my lips.I had my dinner,drinks everything but it didn't get fade away.It stayed on my lips for good 5-6 hrs.I removed it with a makeup remover.It does what it claims and make your lips feel soft like Satin even after removing this.

Final Verdict :- For Rs.260 It is a steal.I would definitely check out other shades from this range.I loved its texture and the color it tuned out to be on my lips.Staying power is awesome.I would definitely recommend this to everyone.I think they have shades for every skin tone.Give it a try and find your perfect shade from this collection.

Deepika Padukone IIFA 2016 Inspired Smokey Eye Makeup Tutorial

If we talk about latest trends in Makeup community Celebrity inspired looks are totally in. IIFA 2016 event just happened few days back. Deepika Padukone walked the red carpet like a Goddess.She was wearing a beautiful Cape dress and her divine Makeup totally stole the show.She was having dark Black smokey eyes with nude lips and how can we forget the star of the makeup HIGHLIGHTER on fleek. I simply adore her and couldn't stop myself trying that makeup look.

There are many bloggers and Vloggers who have recreated this look.But I am not following anyone.This is  totally my take how i wanted to achieve this look with some limited products.If you guys are interested, please keep on reading.So let's begin..

1.First I am starting with my eyes for that I used a concealer as my eye primer so that the eye shadow color pops out.

2.After preping my eyes I applied a thick layer of gel eye liner on my eye lids as my base.Make sure you don't go over the crease just on your lids and then quickly smudge it with a brush.

                                           

3.Now take a black eye shadow and blend both the colors up to your crease line.You will get something like this.

4. Now apply the same gel eye liner in your lower water line and also smudge it to lower lash line to get that intense look.

5.Curl your lashes and apply mascara if you want you can apply false lashes but I am going with two good coats of my favorite mascara.

6.Coming to eye brows Deepika had very strong thick defined eye brows in that look.So I am going to define my brows a lil heavy  with an eye brow pencil and later highlight the brow bone.

7.Now for my face I prep my face with a face primer and then applied foundation and set it with a pressing powder.You can use any according to your preference.

 8.Now apply the concealer under your eyes to highlight your eyes.

9.Apply a pink blush on the apples of your cheeks to add a lil color on your face.I am using a rose pink shade from my blush palette.

10.Now time to apply highlighter for that use an applicator brush and apply it on highest points of your face i.e cheekbones,bridge of your nose,forehead,brow bone,chin and cupids bow.

11.End up this look by adding a lipstick on your lips. Deepika had a brown/Mauve nude on her lips,but I wanted to have a pink nude color on my lips.So I have used a beautiful pink nude shade on my lips.

So this completes the look.This is an Inspired look which Deepika wore but not the exact same. I  recreated this according to my preference and  gave it a my shot.
